David L. Miland, age 72, of Stewartville, MN died Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Golden Living West in Rochester, MN.
David Lee Miland was born on November 30, 1944, son of Edwin and Frieda (Witte) Miland in Wykoff, MN. He graduated from Spring Valley High School with the class of 1964. After high school he worked for a nursery in Rochester. The love of the land called David back to the Spring Valley and Wykoff area to farm.
He is survived by his sisters Elaine Hoopes of Stewarville, MN and Evelyn O’Dell of Augusta, GA.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Edwin, Darald, and Edward, and sisters Marian, LaVonne, LaRonna, and Ione.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at First English Lutheran Church with Pastor Wessel officiating. Burial will be in Midway Cemetery Spring Valley, MN. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the church. Hindt Funeral Home Spring Valley, MN is assisting the family.
