Eldon L. Fjetland, age 95, of Riceville, IA died Tuesday August 16, 2016 at the Riceville Care Center in Riceville, IA where he had resided for 3 years.
Eldon Fjetland was born October 23, 1920 in Rowen, IA to Dan and Sadie (VanBuskirk) Fjetland. He farmed along with his father for many years and was employed by Farmers Feed and Grain in Riceville in later years. Eldon was interested in anything involving farming and tractors especially his International F-20. He also enjoyed riding his golf cart around Riceville checking out the sites.
He is survived by 4 siblings; Donna Johnson of Myservy, IA, Larry (Ruby) Fjetland of Fountain, MN, Judy Peil of Alexander, IA and Betty Dungey of Osage, IA. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers; Lorin, Donald, Danny and Darold and 2 sisters; Lila and Vivian.
Visitation will be held from 4 - 7 P.M. at the Hindt-Hudek Funeral Home in Riceville, IA on Tuesday September 6, 2016. Graveside services will be held 10:30 Wednesday September 7, at the Osage Cemetery - Osage, IA.
