Jane Ellen (Bell) Walker, 76, of Lehigh Acres, Florida, died on Friday October 31st at Gulf Coast Hospital in Fort Myers, Florida.
Jane was born on April 11, 1939, and grew up in Lyle Minnesota to Verne and Ethel Bell. She was married in 1957 to Paul Austinson, has three children and moved to Mankato, Morristown, Grand Meadow, Mason City, and eventually Rochester.
In 1981, she met and married Robert Walker and moved to Eden Prairie, Minnesota. In 1990, Robert and Jane retired then moved to Fort Myers, Florida. Jane was an avid golfer, sold reality, and was very active socially. She especially loved hosting parties, playing cards, and taking long walks.
Jane is survived by her husband, Robert Walker of Lehigh Acres Fl, her children Jaci (Ron) Rietveld of Aitkin MN, John (Julie) Austinson of Eyota MN; step-children Rob (Donnelle) Walker of Denver CO, Renee (Walker) Holmes of Albuquerque NM; two sisters, Margie (Bud) Lau and Carol (Oscar) Huff of Austin MN, a brother, David (Carolynn) Bell of Albert Lea MN; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Mark Austinson.
A visitation for Jane will be held at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary on Saturday, November 14th from 10am-12pm, with a short service at 11am.
