Funeral services for June Freeman will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 16, 2017 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Spring Valley, MN with Pastor Betsy Dartt. Burial will take place at the Spring Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1:00-2:00 P.M. Monday, January 16, 2017 at the church. Hindt Funeral Home of Spring Valley, MN is in charge of arrangements.
June Freeman, age 84, of Spring Valley, MN passed away Friday, January 13, 2017 at the Spring Valley Care Center.
June J. Fox was born June 5, 1932 in rural Mower County, MN to Clarence and Ida (Anderson) Fox. She graduated from Spring Valley High School in 1950. On August 17, 1952, June was united in marriage to Darrell Freeman at Bear Creek Lutheran Church in rural Grand Meadow, MN. Darrell owned and operated Freeman Construction where June assisted with the bookkeeping for the company. Family was very important to June. She loved spending time camping on the farm and at their place in Arizona.
June is survived by her son Daniel (Vicki) Freeman of Golden Valley, MN; grandson, Nathaniel Freeman of Golden Valley, MN; brother, Jack (Elsie) Fox of Racine, MN; sister, Betty Brandt of Grand Meadow; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Ida Fox; husband, Darrell Freeman; son, Dean Freeman; brother, Irvin Fox; and sister, Arlene Anderson.
