Lucille L. Herold, age 91, of Waterloo, IA passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Queen of Angels Assisted Living in Radisson, WI.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at Notre Dame Parish in Cresco, IA. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery Cresco, IA. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, at the church. Hindt-Hudek Funeral Home 404 N Elm Street Cresco, IA is in charge of arrangements.
Lucille Louise Holman was born on May 29, 1925, daughter of Charles and Bertha (Gipe) Holman in Quasqueton, IA. On November 26, 1946, Lucille married Elmore Herold. To this union three children were born Carl, Tom, and Jeannie. Lucille worked for Americana Nursing Center in Waterloo, IA, retiring after 18 years. She enjoyed fishing, quilt making, and crafts.
Surviving Lucille is her husband of 69 years Elmore of Waterloo, IA, sons Carl of Waterloo, and Tom of Rice Lake, WI, daughter Jeannie Woodward of Conifer, CO, 4 grandchildren Crystal, Andrea, Robert and Michelle, 4 great grandchildren Alexandra, Chloe, Alana, and Love, and 2 great great grandchildren.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents.
