Mervel M Fosdick

Mervel M. Fosdick, age 76, of Spring Valley, MN died November 26, 2016 at the home of her daughter in Spring Valley, Mervel Marie Fosdick was born on March 18th, 1940 in Colgate Twp. North Dakota to Carrington and Zelma (Fulton) Fosdick. After raising her family Mervel was very proud of the fact that she returned to school and obtained a degree in education from Valley City State University. Mervel spent her career teaching English and Spanish. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, embroidering, playing games and doing crossword puzzles. She was a very talented and gifted writer and enjoyed sending letters to family and friends. She is survived by her children; Kelly (Karen) Parkman of Gresham, OR, James (Lisa) Parkman of Spokane, WA, Rachel VanRinsum of Missoula, MT and Molly Parkman of Spring Valley, MN, 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers; Gaylord Fosdick of Wyoming, and Milton Fosdick of Hope, ND and a sister; Dorothy (Perry) Rhorda of Valley City, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister; Virginia. No services are being planned at this time.
