My deep condolences to the family and friends of Randy. Though I did not have the chance to know him personally, I was moved when I read his obituary. I especially appreciated his regard for the outdoors and for spending time with family and friends. In your time of mourning, I'd like to share some comforting thoughts from the scriptures. The Bible speaks of a time when there will be no more death or suffering. I have found comfort in the words recorded at Revelation 21:4 where it says, "And he will wipe every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore, the former things have passed away." I also find the words recorded at 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 reassuring, it reads, "Praised be the God and father of our lord Jesus Christ, the father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God." I hope you can lean on God to give you comfort in your time of need. If you'd like to read some more comforting words from the Bible, please feel free to visit JW.org

Randy was a fantastic volunteer at Eagle Bluff. He always went above and beyond what was necessary. He had a great smile and really was a "people" person. He often went for a walk on our trails following volunteering just to enjoy the great outdoors! He will be missed. Joe Deden, Executive Director, Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center

Thoughts and prayers to your family during this time. I knew Randy through officiating high school football for MSHSL. I had a number of games with him in the stripes. Randy was a great guy to be around.

Randy was one of my favorite customers to speak with. He would bring in watermelon, honey, and maple syrup for me to bring home to my family. He was very knowledgeable about sports and seemed like anything outdoor. I always enjoyed getting his opinion on things. I certainly will miss my conversations with him. Rest In Peace my friend.
