I will never forget how patient and dedicated he was to taking care of our Grandmother. It was truly amazing--THANK-YOU, Ray!!

Dear Nieces and Nephews,
Your Uncle Ray was more like a brother to the "Martin Five". We spent so much time at Tanta Maggie's home. The Herold's had a T.V. and we would walk over at night to watch I Love Lucy and December Bride and Boxing and Wrestling. We played cards and laughed and had a wonderful time. Tanta Maggie had apples or pop corn for us to snack on while we laughed.
Some evenings I would play the accordion outside at our house and they could hear me play as they sat on their porch and always clapped for me. Uncle George, Tanta Maggie and Ray were wonderful neighbors and wonderful friends.
Ray was very much a part of our lives. The "Martin Five" were born at home and Tanta Maggie was there to welcome each of us as we arrived. Ray has joined his family in eternity and I am sure Tanta Maggie and Uncle George were there to welcome him home. Rest in peace, dear Ray. You will be missed.
