Dear Marella & family, Elsie and I pray for the blessing of the Lord's comfort for you all in this time of sorrow and in the days to come. When we heed the invitation of Jesus our risen and ever living Lord and Savior to receive the forgiveness of our sin by faith in him, we have the wonderful comfort of knowing that we have a home in heaven waiting for us whenever our time of death may occur, as Jesus assures us when he said in John chapter 14, verses 1-2, "Let not your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you.” Death takes us away from this world but it cannot take us away from Jesus, when we heed his call to become one of his sheep by faith in him as he assures us in John 10:27-28: "I am the good shepherd, the good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep...My sheep hear my voice, and I know them...and I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish, and no one shall snatch them out of my hand." And until the day Jesus brings us to be with him in Paradise, Jesus will be with us who remain in this world to help us with the suffering or sorrow that may be ours to bear. We will be thinking of you in our prayers at the time of the Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. this coming Friday Oct.6th. I check the obituaries on the internet at the Hindt Funeral Home, every day to see if there are any funeral notices of friends listed from the Chester area.
We still live in DeLamere, ND where we have lived since moving from Chester in Nov. 1976.
