Darlene Orman Obituary

Darlene R. Orman, 85, of Spring Valley, MN died Thursday, May 23, 2019 at her home.

A private family burial will be held in the Spring Valley Cemetery.

Darlene Ruth Lee was born March 28, 1934 in Algona, IA to Roy and Mary (Cooper) Lee. On October 26, 1956 she was united in marriage to Harold Orman at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Sargeant, MN and to this union, four children were born; Susan, Robert, Janeen, and Julie. Darlene was a devoted mother who had a servant’s heart.

Darlene is survived by her children Susan (Steven) Horejsi or Rosemont, MN, Robert (Sharon) Orman of Spring Valley, Janeen (Joel) Kvanli of Commerce, TX, and Julie Orman of Spring Valley, MN, a brother Rev. Alan Broadwell of Claremont, MN, 5 grandchildren Kate, Tony, Jennifer, Eric, and Erin, and 7 great-grandchildren.

Memorials are preferred to 1st English Lutheran Church in Spring Valley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold, two sisters, and a grandson.
