Funeral services for David Forland will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday December 23, 2017 at Hindt Funeral Home in LeRoy, MN. Burial will take place in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
David Orvin Forland, age 77, of LeRoy died December 20, 2017 at his home in LeRoy, MN.
He was born on August 12, 1940 in Dundee, IL to Orvin and Lillian Lorraine (Pickerill) Forland. He attended school in Wykoff, MN & LeRoy, MN. David enlisted in the Army in the early 1960’s and was stationed in Germany. He later moved to Chicago where he worked at Stewart-Warner. In 1994 he retired and moved back to LeRoy, MN. David enjoyed his dogs and his miniature horse. He will be remembered for his ability to play beautiful music all by ear.
He is survived by his three sisters; Bonnie Woltmann of Spring Valley, Carolyn (Harold) Meyer of Mesa, Arizona, Linda (Gary) Woods of Spring Valley, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
