Memorial Mass for Diane M. (Stier) Hodge will be held 10:30 A.M. Tuesday June 20, 2017 at St Finbarr Catholic Church in Grand Meadow with Father Marreddy Pothireddy. Visitation will be held 5-8 P.M. on Monday June 19, 2017 at the Hindt Funeral Home in Grand Meadow. The Rosary will be recited at 4:30 P.M. at the funeral home. Visitation will continue for 1hr prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
Diane Marie (Stier) Hodge, age 60, of Rochester, MN died on Tuesday June 13, 2017 at Mayo Clinic Hospital St Marys Campus in Rochester, MN.
She was born on March 6, 1957 in Rochester, MN to Jerry and Helen (Christopherson) Stier of Grand Meadow, MN. She attended and graduated from Grand Meadow High School in 1975 and continued her education at Mankato State University.
Diane was an avid volunteer with various groups and organizations. She enjoyed the sunshine, being outdoors, gardening, bike riding, walking, reading and sharing any photos she could of her two sons and grandsons. Anyone who met Diane felt loved and encouraged. She was a ray of sunshine and cheerleader to everyone she met and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her two sons Brandon and Adam Keil of Houston, TX and two adorable grandsons, David and Daniel also of Houston, TX; her mother Helen Stier, and four siblings, Craig (Carol) Stier, Deb (Randy) Queensland, Jane (Jeff) Lund and Jill (Mike) Smith all of Grand Meadow, MN. She was also the beloved aunt of six nephews and five nieces. Diane was preceded in death by her father Jerry Stier.
