Karen Jean Hanson, 59, of LeRoy, Minnesota passed away on March 30, 2017 at the Grand Meadow Healthcare Center in Grand Meadow, MN.
Karen Jean Hanson was born April 27, 1957 to Cecil and Lorraine (Ludwig) Hanson in Preston, Minnesota. In 1975 she graduated from LeRoy High School. Karen worked at L.P.C. in LeRoy for many years. She enjoyed playing cards, doing any kind of puzzle, sewing, and quilting. Karen loved to go out for Chinese food any time she could. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she loved spending time with them.
She is survived by her son Danny (Kris) Hanson of LeRoy, MN; grandchildren: Zachary Hanson, Kelly Hanson, Nicole Hanson, and Candace Hanson; a brother Alan (Cheryl) Hanson of Grand Meadow, MN; and a sister Kathy Karver of Charles City, IA.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law Jim Karver.
