Larrie Jo Hove

Larrie J. Hove, age 69, of Cresco, IA, died on Thursday, November 28, 2019, at home.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Notre Dame Catholic Church on December 2, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Jacob Rouse officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Notre Dame Catholic Church beginning at 9:30 a.m. prior to the service on Monday. Hindt-Hudek Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Larrie Jo Hove was born on January 14, 1950, in Cresco, IA, son of Marion and Lillian (Frey) Hove.  After graduating from high school, Larrie began farming with his father.  He enjoyed milking cows and helping with other chores around the farm.  Opportunity Homes began providing Larrie with compassionate care after the death of his mother.  At this time Larrie also began working at Spectrum Industries.  When he retired and moved to town Larrie continued his love of the outdoors by growing a large vegetable garden. 

Larrie is survived by his brothers Tommie (Maggie) Hove of Cresco, and Terrie Hove of Cresco; nephew John Hove of Decorah, IA; niece Grace Hove of Columbia, MO; and great niece Avah Hove of Decorah.

He was preceded in death by his parents Marion and Lillian Hove.
