Memorial service for Mary Lynn (Martz) Nordstrom will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday July 9, 2017 at the First Presbyterian Church in Le Roy with Rev John Kerr officiating. Burial will be in the Le Roy Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1hr prior to the service at the church on Sunday.
Mary Nordstrom, age 70, formerly of Rochester, MN died Tuesday July 4, 2017 at the Chosen Valley Care Center in Chatfield.
Mary Lynn Martz was born October 11, 1946 in Rochester, MN to LuVerne and Barbara (Ladd) Martz. She attended and graduated from Le Roy High School in 1964 and continued her education at St Cloud State and graduated from Luther College in the class of 1968. She was united in marriage to Garry Nordstrom on February 4, 1967 at the First Presbyterian Church in LeRoy and they were later divorced. Mary was co-owner of Andy’s Furniture in Rochester, MN from 1976-1980 and owner of Designers Guild from 1980 – 1985.
She is survived by her daughter Cindy (Greg) Danielson of Wykoff, MN and a son Tom Nordstrom of Rochester, MN, 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 1 sister, Roberta (Leonard) Edwards of Duluth. She was preceded in death by her parents.
