Randall Ray Cain

Memorial service for Randy Cain will be held at 3 p.m.  Friday February 2, 2018 at the Hindt Funeral Home in Spring Valley with Rev Mark Rader officiating.  Visitation will be held following the service from 4-7 P.M. at the funeral home.

Randall Ray Cain of Chatfield died Tuesday January 30, 2018 at his home in Chatfield.  He was born November 12, 1951 in Owatonna, MN to Jerald and Dolores (Derby) Cain.  Randy graduated from Kasson High School and attended Rochester Vocational Technical College. For many years he was employed by Cain Family Stables where he truly enjoyed breaking, training and caring for horses. Over the years Randy also worked for Arnolds Supply, Chatfield and Fillmore Central Schools, Strongwell in Chatfield and Stone House Stables. He was never married.

Randy is survived by his siblings Jay (Julie) Cain of Stillwater, MN, Kevin Cain of Dodge Center, MN, Amy (Steve) Freiheit of Wykoff, MN and a sister-in-law Pam Gellert of Rochester, MN. 6 nieces and nephews; Brian (Mandy) Cain, Erin (John) Cain-Helfrich, Brandon (Alesha Sveen) Freiheit, Dustin (Kayla) Freiheit, Wesly (Michelle Clarbour) Freiheit and Travis (Nikki Shorter) Freiheit and 5 great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
