Welcome to the memorial page for

Rockny John Moger

July 9, 1963 ~ June 24, 2017 (age 53) 53 Years Old

In loving memory of a father, son, brother, and grandfather Rockny John Moger.  Born July 9, 1963 and passed June 24, 2017.  Preceded in death by his father James and brother Rodney.  Survived by his mother Lyla, children Amanda (Tyrone) Reed, James (Jamie) Moger, and Jessica (Chris) Hatcher.  Grandchildren Nate, Anayah, Justina, Jada, Aleenah, Janelle, Jaylee and great grandson Zayden.  Brother Lyle (Shirley) and sisters Marge and Rhonda (Doug). He is also survived by his girlfriend Tiffany Smith and step son Paxton Smith and  Many nieces and nephews.

Rocky was the hardest worker, funniest, most caring and loving man that we know.  His family was his pride and joy.  He gave his all to his manufacturing business, built from the ground up. He was dedicated to his employees and appreciated their hard work and loyalty.  Repairing anything that needed fixing and hunting were his hobbies.  If you knew Rocky, cracking jokes was what he did.  He just wanted everyone to laugh and be happy.  All he wanted to do was help anyone that just needed a little push to be successful.  He cared for all children and just wanted every child to have what they needed to succeed.  Our Rock was taken from us too soon.

When having to decide on working hard or working smart, always choose both.  You could be working smart and get results but you would get even better results if you also worked harder.  The feeling you get when you accomplish something after putting a ton of work into it is one that money can’t buy.  It will build your character and make success taste far sweeter than if success just landed on your lap.  Working hard is unavoidable, but the reality is that with hard work and a strong heart you will go far in life (WORK HARD).  That is what we were taught by Rocky.

A thousand words couldn’t bring you back…. I know this because we tried; neither could a thousand tears… I know this because we cried, you left behind a family of broken hearts and happy memories too….but we never wanted memories we all needed you…missing someone is not about how long it has been since you have seen them or the amount of time you have talked…it is about that very moment you are doing something and you are wishing and needing that person right there.  We will see you when we get there!!  Love and miss you forever!
