Tamra Corscadden, age 59, of LeRoy, MN died Sunday February 18, 2018 at her home after a life long battle with brain cancer.
Tamra Jane Corscadden was born February 13, 1959 in Casper, WY and moved to Apple Valley MN with her parents John and Jane (Avery) Corscadden and a brother Mark. She attended and graduated from Apple Valley High School with honors in 1977. After high school, Tamra continued her education at Winona State University obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Art and graduating with honors. On September 12, 1986 she was united in marriage to Thomas Kamp at the Austin Nature Center, they later divorced.
Tamra worked as a Health Aid working overnights and at Yonkers . She loved riding her horse, Tony, in her younger years, listening to the Beatles and attending concerts. Tamra loved visiting her cousins in Massachusetts and going to the beach. She and her family often spent summers in Northern Minnesota at their cabin. Tamra was very crafty and enjoyed painting, drawing, cross stitching, and did some freelance decorating to keep her busy. When she wasn’t crafting she was doing crosswords puzzles and playing cards.
Tamra was a member of the Queen of Angels church and Habitat for Humanity, where she even designed a logo.
Tamra is survived by her children Allysha Corscadden of Rochester, MN and Ian Corscadden of Austin, MN and her mother Jane (Spincich) Corscadden of Sunnyvale, CA.
She is preceded in death by her father John Corscadden and her brother Mark Corscadden.
