Dale E. Webb

Dale E. Webb, 76, of Alta Vista, IA, died on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at Evans Memorial Home in Cresco, IA.

Dale was born July 17, 1944, son of Raymond W. and Eleanor E. (Heying) Webb in Elma, IA.  Dale attended country school at Deerfield and Devon in Chickasaw County, and graduated from New Hampton High School in 1962.  After high school, Dale started driving rock truck, worked for the Co-op in Alta Vista, and helped many farmers.  Dale also worked in the engine department at Oliver in Charles City for several years.  He mowed a lot of lawns for people and liked every dog in the county, especially Fritz the wiener dog.  When he was older Dale worked for Trimark before they downsized and began working at SMI until becoming disabled.  Dale enjoyed helping his brother, LeRoy, work the cows on Fertile Valley Farm.  When Dale became completely disabled, he liked to drive around the area in his Dodge pickup.   

Dale is survived by his siblings Jerry Webb of Waterloo, IA, LeRoy (Deanne) Webb of Cresco, IA, Nancy (Edward) Eddy of Cuba City, WI, Janice Ohm of New Hampton, IA, Roger (Paula) Webb of New Hampton, IA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Darlene Webb at 11 months, sister Elsie (Clayton) Stevenson, sister-in-law Toni Webb, and brother-in-law Bob Ohm.

Graveside Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 28, 2020, at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Alta Vista, IA, with Fr. Jerry Kopacek officiating.  Hindt-Hudek Funeral Home is assisting the family.
