Delores Loraine (Mlenar) Peters

Delores Loraine Peters, 96, of Spring Valley, MN passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Spring Valley Living.

She was born September 9, 1924 to William and Iva Mlenar. She was the oldest of 8 children. She was always “Sis” to the family and close friends. Delores grew up in Spring Valley and on March 29, 1942 she married Rexford Peters. He passed away in 2005.

Delores was a homemaker and helped her husband with their decorating business. They enjoyed many summers at their cabin on Upper Hay Lake by Brainerd, MN.

Delores is survived by her 3 sisters Sandra (Mike) Miller of Rochester, MN, Gwen (Richard) Ruesink of Spring Valley, Donna (Vernon) Lovstad of Burnsville, MN, sister-in-law Maxine Mlenar, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Rex, infant son Barry Rexford Peters, brother Charles Mlenar, sister LaVonne Keller and husband Maurice, sister Mary Lou Regan and her husband Robert, infant sister Kleone Jean Mlenar, and two nephews Scott Regan and Brian Regan.

Funeral services for Delores will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Spring Valley with Pastor Betsy Dartt officiating. Visitation will be held from10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
