Elwood Boe Obituary

Elwood James Boe passed away on January 8, 2023, at the Care Center in Stacyville, Iowa, from the COVID infection.
Elwood was born on January 23, 1945, the son of Ervin and Gladys Boe in Taopi, Minn. He grew up on a farm in Howard County, Iowa. He went to a country school, Oakdale #3, grades K-8 and graduated from LeRoy High School in 1963. He was a farmer all of his life, until he retired and moved to LeRoy.
There will be no services. At a later date, there will be a committal service at Marshall Lutheran Church Cemetery in Adams, Minn.
He is survived by Stanley Boe, of LeRoy, currently in the Ostrander Care Center; sister, Mary (Kieth) Eastman; and nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
Elwood was preceeded in death by his parents; brother, Eugene, in infancy; sister, Lorraine Phelps; brother, Robert Boe; sister-in law, Janice Boe; and nephew, Brian Boe.
