Galen Hansen started his trucking business in 1957  and operated it until 2019. Driving until he was 83 yrs old. It was his hobby and passion.  Galen was a practical joker, great father, hard worker, author of Diesel smoke articles and a great storyteller of true stories. He was an author of a book being published about the Diesel smoke articles. His involvement in the church was important to him and he took pride in keeping his lawn neatly mowed and manicured. He loved his Lincoln continental, and loved to take drives with his wife, Lois. Galen was a devoted husband that truly adored his wife.

Except for some aches and pains, he lived a very healthy life and died peacefully at home. He requested to be taken to the cemetery in the back of a semi-truck. Scoop the loop in McIntire blowing the airhorn on the way  to the cemetery.

He looked forward to re-joining his wife in heaven.
