Gregory “Frog” Davis, 49, of Chatfield, MN died Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at his home in Chatfield.

Funeral services for Gregory Davis will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Preston United Methodist Church in Preston, MN. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Burial will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Preston, MN.

Gregory Scott Davis was born July 28, 1969, in Odessa, TX to Charles Thomas Davis and Quincy Ann (Bromwell) Bailey.  Gregory retired from the Army after serving 27 years. He was married to Margarite “Maggie” Benavidez in 2010. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, rodeos, sand drags, drag racing, and smoking meat. He made an excellent spiral ham and pork loin.

He is survived by his wife Maggie Davis of Chatfield, his children John, Michelle, Thomas, Travis, Cheyanne, Montena, Dakota, Colorado, Katherine, and Kaitlyn, his mom Quincy (Billy) Bailey, his sister Ginger Davis, his uncles Bruce Bromwell and Richard Davis, and his maternal grandparents Frankie “Mema” and Don “Pepa” Bromwell.

Gregory was preceded in death by his dad Charles in 2015, his step-son Kaleb Ryan Rivera in 2016, and his paternal grandmother Ann.
