John M. Rolli

John Rolli, age 73, of Spring Valley, MN, passed away on March 17, 2021, at Seasons Hospice in Rochester, MN. 

John Milton Rolli was born May 1, 1947 to Harold and Shirley (Jahns) Rolli.  John graduated from Spring Valley High School in 1965, and then from North Central Bible College with a degree in Christian Education.  He served in Korea and Vietnam in the United States Air Force.  In 1971, he was united in marriage to Mary Strande at the First English Lutheran Church in Spring Valley, MN.  He spent many years pastoring, hauling mail, Rochester armor car, and delivering the Post Bulletin. 

He is survived by his wife Mary of Spring Valley, his children Peter (Jeri) Rolli of Rochester, Chris Rolli of Spring Valley, Angie Erickson (John Lorius) of Spring Valley, and Amy (Bruce) Elliott of Rochester; 7 grandchildren Justin (Jasmine), Travis and Madison Rolli; Taylor (Andrew Olivia) Johnson; and Wyatt, Dakota, and Sam Elliot, and 1 great-grandchild Marceline Rolli.  Brother Jim (Vicki) Rolli; sisters Kathy (Robert) Grabau, Terry (Glenn) Stuedemann, and Cindy (Dan) Schoenfeldt; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation for John will be from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 3, 2021, at the Hindt Funeral Home in Spring Valley, MN.  A committal service will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, May 3, 2021 at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Preston, MN with Pastor Corey Moss officiating.
