Justin M. Johnson

Justin M. Johnson, age 19, of Spring Valley, MN, died on Monday, June 28, 2021.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hindt Funeral Home in Spring Valley.  A private family service will be held at a later date.

Justin Michael Johnson was born December 5, 2001, son of James Johnson and Lisa Phillips in Rochester, MN.  He was a 2020 graduate from Kingsland High School in Spring Valley.  At the age of 15, Justin began working for Sunshine Foods and worked there until after graduating.  Justin was a true outdoorsman who liked fishing and hunting.  He enjoyed working on cars and collecting coins. 

He is survived by his mother Lisa Phillips of Stewartville, MN; sisters Sydney (Charles) Morgan of Albert Lea, MN, Morgan Phillips of Spring Valley, MN, Addison Johnson of Alta Vista, IA, Aubrey Johnson of Alta Vista, IA; brother Daxus Dotson of Alta Vista, IA; maternal grandparents David and Pam Phillips of Spring Valley; paternal grandparents Terry and Carolyn Johnson of Lime Springs, IA and Cecelia and Randy Flugge of Cresco, IA; niece Skye Morgan; and step mother Jenny Johnson of Alta Vista, IA.

Justin was preceded in death by his father James Johnson.
