Karen Shaw

Karen lsabel Shaw, 67, went home to the lord on Saturday Sept. 4,2021

at White Pine Assisted Living in lnver Grove Heights. Karen was born on

November 10, 1953 to Kenneth W. Shaw and Edith C. (Comstock) Shaw

in Rochester MN. Karen grew up in Ostrander and attended

LeRoy/Ostrander School. Karen moved to Spring Valley, MN and became

a caretaker of many. She worked as a Nursing Assistant in the Spring

Valley Care Center for over 20 years. She also worked at other care

centers. Karen's life long mission was to care for others. She helped

neighbors, her mother during illness, and many others that needed

some extra care. Karen also loved walking pet dogs for other people

after her beloved Tiffany passed away.

Karen is survived by her siblings Stephen (Nancy) Shaw of Hugo, MN,

Christine (Dean) Dahle of Hayfield, MN, Kathleen (Dennis)Eckard of Bella

Vista, AR, Susan (Brad) Davis of Hamilton MT, and many nieces and

nephews.

Karen was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal

grandparents, her parents, her brothers Richard and James Shaw and

her nephew Timothy Dahle.

Services for Karen will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday September 13, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ostrander, MN with Pastor Herman Bakker officiating. Burial will take place at the Ostrander Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
