Keith A. Denny

Keith Alan Denny, age 61 of Preston, passed away September 25, 2021 at Mayo Clinic- St. Mary’s Campus after a multi-year battle with lung cancer.   Keith was born February 8, 1960 in Rochester, Minnesota, to Kenneth and Alta Denny.  Mr. Denny was raised in Preston, Minnesota.  He graduated from Preston-Fountain High School in 1978.  After school, he pursued some vocational technical education.  He later acquired the skills to be a master welder.  Keith worked at the Preston Body Shop, Featherlite in Cresco, Iowa, and finally Crenlo in Rochester, Minnesota, the latter right up until his death.  Keith loved restoring and tinkering with vehicles.  His garage was full of tools, equipment, and older vehicles waiting to again reach their prime.  He was an avid snowmobiler, including helping keeping trails around Preston properly signed and groomed.  He was an avid motorcycle rider.  Keith was a proud Harley Davidson owner most of his adult life.  Keith never married and had no children.  Mr. Denny was preceded in death by his mother Alta, father Kenneth, and brother Victor.   He is survived by two sisters, Victoria of Preston, and Lisa of Austin, plus four nephews and two nieces.  A celebration of life will be decided at a future date.
