Neil Moser

Neil Moser, age 68, of Lime Springs, IA passed away on November 1, 2018.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 9, 2018, at Notre Dame Parish in Cresco, IA with Father Dennis Cain officiating.  Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Cresco. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Hindt-Hudek Funeral Home in Cresco. Visitation will continue from 10-11 a.m. before the service at the church on Friday.

Neil Jerome Moser was born on October 15, 1950 in Howard County, Iowa to Robert and Marcella (O’Brien) Moser. He graduated in 1968 from Notre Dame High School and then attended Gates College for accounting in Waterloo where he received his Associates Degree. He worked at Sky Tech in Waverly until it closed and then moved back home to Lime Springs where he farmed and raised livestock. In the early 2000’s, Neil continued his education in carpentry for a year. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, word searches, Sudoku puzzles, playing pool, and spending time with family on holidays.

Neil is survived by his siblings Sharon (Wayne) Hammon of LeRoy, MN, Kathy Schmitt (Ron Verbeck) of Lime Springs, IA, Luann Hammon of Riceville, IA, Gerald (Carla) Moser of Lime Springs, IA, Beverly (Perry) Thomas of Lime Springs, IA, and Bruce Moser of Lime Springs, IA, aunts Elaine Moser of Lime Springs, IA Marjorie “Motsy” Mohlis of Minneapolis, MN, and Louise “Snookie” Meyer of Plymouth, MN, uncles Dean (Shirley) Moser of Robins, IA, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a great-great niece.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Betty Jean Moser, and his brother Warren Moser.
