Patricia "Patti" (Jacobson) Ryan

Memorial services for Patricia Ann “Patti” Ryan will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday December 7, 2018 at Hindt Funeral Home 104 Grand Ave E. Grand Meadow, MN with Pastor Jon Marburger officiating.  Visitation will be held 1 hr prior to the service at the funeral home.

Patricia A. Ryan, age 62, of Waseca and formerly of Grand Meadow died at her home in Waseca November 28, 2018.

Patti was born November 21, 1956 in Rochester, MN to Norman Jacobson and Shirley Quirin Jacobson. She graduated from Grand Meadow High School in 1974 and was united in marriage to Randy Ryan in 1979. They were later divorced. Patti was a stay at home mom while her children were at home. After her children were raised she went back to school at Mankato State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Patti worked for Hormel in Austin in the I.T. Department while going to school. After her graduation she was employed as a Software Engineer by IBM in Rochester until the time of her death.

Patti loved spending time with her dogs, photography, Kayaking and flying her drones.

She is survived by her children; Rachael (Tom) Poplau of Chicago, IL, Tyler Ryan of Bloomington, MN, Gina “ Faith”  (Ryan) Hamilton of Lander, Wyoming, 5 grandchildren, her mother Annett Monet of FL, and 4 brothers; David (Ginger) Jacobson, Robert “ Jake”  (Terri) Jacobson, Joe (Brenda) Jacobson and Jerry (Andrea) Jacobson. She was preceded in death by her father Norman and a brother Jeff.
