Phyllis Jean (Johnson) Dietrich

Phyllis J. Dietrich, age 79, of Le Roy, MN died Tuesday September 20, 2021 at Mayo Clinic Hospital – St Marys Campus in Rochester, MN.

Phyllis Jean Jonson was born April 14, 1943 to Allen and Eunice (Hall) Johnson in Taopi, MN. She attended and graduated from Spring Valley High School in 1961 and later that year was united in marriage to Roger Dietrich. Together they were married for almost 60 years. Roger passed away January 6, 2021. Phyllis attended Rochester Vo-tech, graduating in their first Surgical Tech Coarse. She worked as a surgical tech for 34 years retiring in 2007.  Phyllis enjoyed camping, reading, traveling, sitting by the water and an occasional trip to the casino.

She is survived by her son Delayno Dietrich of Le Roy, MN, 2 grandchildren, Keythe of Rochester and Owen of Rush City and two brothers, Buster (Anette) Johnson of Spring Valley and Joe Johnson of Grand Meadow.

Funeral service will be held 1:30 Monday September 26, 2022 at the Le Roy Lutheran Church in Le Roy with Rev Herman Bakker officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 12:30 until time of service at the church.
