Roger Grabau Obituary

Roger J. Grabau, 93, of Spring Valley, MN, died on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at Spring Valley Living in Spring Valley, MN.

Roger John Grabau was born March 11, 1928 in Spring Valley, MN to Carl and Frieda (Ruud) Grabau. Roger graduated from Spring Valley High in 1946. He was united in marriage to Mavis Pettey on August 30, 1949. To this union, a daughter, Rita, was born. Roger served in the Army National Guard during the Korean War, where he was stationed in Georgia. He worked for MN D.O.T. and Fillmore County Road Department until his retirement. He enjoyed cars in his spare time.

Roger is survived by his daughter Rita Grabau of Spring Valley, MN; sisters Mary Warren of Lake City, MN and Marie Warren of Spring Valley, MN; one brother Boyd (Bonnie) Grabau of Spring Valley, MN; one niece and two nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mavis, and parents Frieda and Carl Grabau.

Burial will be at Forestville Cemetery in Forestville, MN.
