Seevert "Bub" Gronvold

Seevert Bernell Gronvold “Bub”, age 74 Of Grand Meadow died peacefully on June 8, 2022 At Mayo Clinic Hospital - St Marys Campus.

  Seevert Was Born ln Kasson, Minnesota to Harvey and Lenora (Starkson) Gronvold on September 12,1947.  He graduated high school in 1965 from Byron High School and later Attended Austin Vocational Technical Institute for Auto Mechanics.

Seevert married Jacqueline Ann Fenton on October 21,1972 at St Finbarr Catholic Church. Together they had four children, Peter, Scott, Melinda and Cody. Seevert and Jacqueline later divorced.

Seevert held many jobs throughout his life. He was an Auto Mechanic lnstructor at varies local vocational institutes,  worked at Crenlo Manufacturing in maintenance until he retired. He later held several semi driving jobs. Seevert worked very hard and sometimes several jobs to support his family. He always wanted to help others before himself. He was a loving father to his children and enjoyed teaching them auto mechanics. He enjoyed being in the pit crew for his sons racing, singing music, playing cornet, camping and fishing. Seevert loved attending family events, especially his grandkids concerts.

Seevert is survived by his sister Carol Woodward of Vadnais Heights, MN, brother James Gronvold of Rochester MN, Jacqueline Fenton (Gronvold) of Rochester Son Peter Gronvold of Grand Meadow, Scott (Peggy Nagele) Gronvold of Grand Meadow, Melinda Gronvold of Brownsdale and Cody (Tiffany) Gronvold of Grand Meadow. Grandchildren Brianna Gronvold, Tanner Gronvold, lsaiah-Joe Haskin, Ryder Gronvold and Cyrus Tipton

Seevert was preceded in death by sisters, Verlene and Alice, brothers Charles and Daniel in infancy. He was also preceded by his Parents Lenora and Harvey Gronvold.

Funeral Mass will be held 11:30 A.M. Thursday, June 16, 2022 at St. Finbarr Catholic Church in Grand Meadow with Father Marreddy Pothireddy officiating. Burial will take place at Grand View Memorial Gardens in Rochester at a later date. Visitation will be held 1 hr prior to the service at the church.
