On July 1, 1967, she was united in marriage to Tom Beck at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Chester, IA.  Together the couple had 5 children: LeAnn, Brad, Jody, Marty and Matt. They were later separated. Shirley was later married to Robert “Bob” McCarville Sr., he passed away January 26, 2019.
