Tracy (Meyer) Stahnke

Tracy Ann Meyer-Stahnke was born November 1, 1973 and died June 9, 2021 at the age of 47. She was born to Betty and Ken Meyer in Spring Valley, MN and grew up in the Spring Valley area. She graduated from Spring Valley High School in 1992.

Tracy later moved to Rochester, MN and married her high school sweetheart, Michael Stahnke. Tracy and Michael had two children together:  Zachary Stahnke and Zabryna Stahnke.  

Tracy worked as a daycare provider taking care of "precious cargo," her own children and her many nieces and nephews as well as other children. Tracy loved all of her children and they loved her. Tracy was the best at knowing when to give big hugs and kisses and those times where a deep contagious laugh was needed. 

In 2018, Tracy found a partner whose giant soul and heart matched her own, Kim Wentworth.  With Kim, Tracy found comfort, love and laughter. Tracy and Kim lived in Preston, MN, along with daughter Zabryna and grandson Abel Stahnke (3 years old).  

Tracy is survived by her children Zachary Stahnke, Zabryna Stahnke and Zachary's children Jackson, Aubree, Alyssa and Abel, her mother Betty Meyer, and siblings Cindy (Lee) Meyer-Powell, Rory Meyer, and Brad (Rachel Hebig) Meyer, nieces and nephews Jacob Powell, Emily Powell, Riley Meyer, Taylor Meyer, Logen Meyer, and Allison Meyer, and her partner Kim Wentworth and his family.  Tracy also loved her cat and 3 dogs her “ fur babies “. She was preceded in death by her dad and her husband.

Public visitation will be held from 5-7 P.M. Tuesday June 15, 2021 at the Hindt Funeral Home in Spring Valley.
