Linda, Dave, and Larry,
I'm sorry for the loss of your dad. I remember him as a kind and caring person. I saw the article about Darrel going on the WWII Honor Flight several years ago, and always wished my own dad had done that as well. Your dad lived a long life. Be comforted by memories.

Larry, Dave, Linda--your dad was always good to me. He always had a kind word. When I first learned to play baseball, he and Neil Lindamood taught us the basics and would stay until way after dark, at the park, teaching us fundamentals, teaching us to throw the right bag and hitting pop-ups to us. I will remember him fondly as a man who taught me how to love baseball and as being a good guy.
