I never met Gene, but have had the privilege to meet and have Jill Carey in my life. Jill often speaks of her family and although I did know a Uncle Gene, I know he must be special. Rest in peace until your friends and loved ones join you in heaven.

To all of Gene's family:
I really enjoyed talking with Gene every time he would call Holstrom's Store. It was better when he would stop by the store to visit or pick out a gift. I can see him sitting in the chair by the counter with his arm on the counter. Cindy, Sue and myself have missed that time with Gene. Cindy and I retired from the store and so only a few times did we then get the phone calls. Us 3 girls will truly miss him, we won't forget you Gene . God be with you all during this difficult time.
