I just learned of Gene's passing. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend his funeral today, as I have other obligations. Please know that I will be thinking of you. Gene was a great guy. As you will remember, he & my brother, Jim, were good friends & enjoyed sharing trucking stories. Gene & Jim have, no doubt, already gotten together in heaven & are sharing more stories of their lives on earth. As a widow of five years, I send sincere, caring thoughts to each of you, as you learn to live life without your loved one near. Every day can be a challenge, but in honor of our loved ones, we must go on. My wishes are that you will be visited by Peace, more often than not, this Holiday Season and that happy memories bring a smile of gratefulness & joy. Joy that you were able to have such a kind & dedicated man in your life & Gratefulness in knowing that he loved you will every beat of his heart. Blessings to each of you- Fran Fairbairn-Sauer
