I want to express my sincere sympathy for the loss of your loved one and share the hope promised in the Bible.
Jesus promised that “those in the memorial tombs will…come out.” (John 5:28, 29)
In harmony with God’s original purpose, those resurrected as humans will have the opportunity to live on a paradise earth. (Luke 23:43)This promised future includes perfect health and everlasting life for obedient humans.
The Bible says: “The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.” (Psalms 37:29)

Jim, Gail, and Families,
Blessings, comfort, and peace to you. Yes, Helen was a very special lady. Articulate, complimentary, and always had something to add to a conversation. I would call her my Iowa lady and she would shower me with her glowing smile. One of the many memories was when she was expecting a visit from a relative whom she hadn't seen for awhile. It was during one of the times she had "misplaced" her hearing aids. The style of my aid allowed Helen to wear mine during this special visit and allowed Helen to hear her relative and contribute to the conversation as always. Yes indeed, fond memories of Helen Casady to be treasured. Again, Blessings, Comfort, and Peace. Sending HUGS ((( )))

Gail, Jim and Family, Helen was indeed one of the sweetest women I have ever known. The Noe family has known the Casady family since we all lived in Grimes many, many years ago and for the last couple years of his life, dad lived across the hall from Helen at the Care Center. I have always felt so very grateful to your mom and don't know if you know of this event: In the summer of 1967, I had a serious car accident north of Leroy on the road known then as the 14-mile stretch. Your parents were the first car to stop and while your dad went and called for help (before cell phones obviously) and got my parents, your mom stayed by my side and rode with me in the ambulance to Rochester. I remember her saying "I never thought I would be glad to hear sirens again" and she was so very comforting to me. He soft voice and touch gave me peace at a time that was so traumatic. Heaven has indeed gained a beautiful angel.

John & I were good friends and lived in the same house when we attended UNI. (I called him Hoppy) I was in the Air Force when he died and could not get back to Iowa for the funeral. When my mother died, Ken & Helen made the trip to Davenport for my mother's funeral. What caring and thoughtful people they were and what great memories I have of visits to Grimes. I now live in Mitchell, SD and my sister, Alberta Knudsen, who lives in Durant, IA say your mom's obituary and remembered of my friendship with John, Sympathy and Blessings to Helen's family. Helen's obituary brought back numerous memories. Bill Casady and I were friends in early junior high school. In fact, he and I took ballroom dancing lessons together and my mother would drive us (in Des Moines). I still have a pic of both of us in
Halloween costume attire. I was devastated by his young death. We were the same age. It seems to me that Helen played the piano, though I'm not sure about that. They were such a nice family. I lived in Grimes many years, then we later moved to Des Moines. I am now in Tulsa, OK. My sincere sympathy to Helen's family for the passing of this lovely woman.

It seems as though time stood still when visiting Helen. She made us all stop for a moment and realize what is really important in life. I will forever cherish her wisdom, kindness and great sense of humor. So lucky to have known her.

How sweet this lady was. I was about 6 years old when I first knew her. Her husband moved my family from Grimes to northern Iowa when I was in second grade, (I believe) and I remember my first chocolate malt on that trip. I can remember being in their house and the sweet soft tone she always spoke with. After I married and would come back to my parents home I always tried to visit Helen at the care center. Jesus has a sweet addition to heaven. Praying for your family. Ps. 91:1-2

Gail and Jim and families.....The beautiful memories of a Beautiful exquisite woman! Your mother was the epitome of a lady, from the earliest years when dad and mom rented the farm from them at Chester Iowa, to the many visits with her at the home when dad was there, just know our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Her life was a blessing to all! The Noe 'kids'.

Jim & Gail,
My deepest sympathies. So many great memories not just of your mom, but of your dad and that big old home in Grimes. She was so kind & wonderful! Even as we kids then teens could be so "goofy" I never once seen a cross look nor word from her. And Jim, it wasn't cause we didn't give the opportunities,

Helen was one of my very favorite people to visit with when we went to the care center for worship services. Always so kind and thoughtful and shared her faith in conversation and action. It was truly a blessing to me to have known her.
