While growing up, I bounced between my parents. As one can imagine, this was very hard on a child. Mrs. K was my favorite teacher, and the sweetest, kindest person I ever knew! She would seek me out at lunch or just in passing in the halls just to tell me she cares about me and hoped I was doing ok. She will always have a place in my heart, I will always treasure her. Her family has my deepest empathy for the loss of such a great and beautiful person.

We remember Mary Lou well. Her smile, loving and generous spirit, and laughter will always be remembered. Mom always saw her as one of her best colleagues and friend.

My condolences to the family. Mrs. Koschmeder was one of my favorite teachers. She always had a smile of her students. My favorite memory was her unit on aging where she paired us 8th graders with residents at the rest home. I will always appreciate how she wanted her students to connect with the community. She will be missed.
