My dearest Jan- Was so saddened to hear the passing of your Mom. I have such fond memories of seeing you and her at Big Bobs Café for a quick bite to eat. Her legacy of being a little "Spit Fire" :-) continues in her daughter and her beloved Granddaughter, LaRae. You truly had a remarkable Lady in your life .. she will be missed by many. I'm going to miss seeing her every morning I come to work I would smile and give her a wave and she smiled back and the same when I left work. We had a lot of stories and lol together. Mother Grandma Lavona loved my daughter Sarah she would tell me she was good worker and she misses Sarah Kappers-Mergen a lot. Sarah enjoyed her also hard for Sarah to leave. I enjoyed the time I got to share with you Jan and your family when you all came to see your Mother. She sure loved the food and pie you would bring her. It's hard to let her go even knowing she is in a no pain loving place. My Grandma made it to her 100 birthday. I miss her so much. I'm thankful for the memories we had together. My thoughts, prayers and sympathies are out to you your love ones and your family. This is the time for you all to share and enjoy the memories. Mother Grandma Lavona is there with you all.
