Pauline M. Carson, age 86, of Spring Valley, MN died Friday July 22, 2016 at the Spring Valley Senior Living where she had resided for 7 weeks.
Pauline was born April 22, 1930 in Rural Fillmore County to Edward and Lena (Hendrickson) Vanderbosch. She attended Spring Valley High School and was later married to Robert Carson on August 13, 1948 in Spring Valley. Pauline spent over 25 years working at Jornel’s Clothing Store and Barbara Anne Fashions in Spring Valley. During her younger years she enjoyed fishing trips up north, playing cards, and listening to old time music. Pauline was also a member of Faith United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons; David (Lana) Carson of Rochester and Ronnie Carson of Spirit Lake, IA, 1 daughter; Becky Carson of Rochester, 5 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and 2 sister-in-laws; Lois and Marlys. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son Randy, 2 sisters; Dorothy and Lois and 1 brother Clayton.
There will be a memorial gathering from 1-3 P.M. on Thursday July 28, 2016 at the Hindt Funeral Home in Spring Valley. Burial will take place at the Spring Valley Cemetery.
